Shannon E.

Veterinary Technician

Shannon attended the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated in April 2017, a few months after completing her (October to December 2016) externship at Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital.

She loves to help nurse animals back to good health, and considers every day a new learning experience. Each day is a new opportunity for her to expand her knowledge on animal care. Shannon is the happy owner of two dogs named Lilly and Chong.

Kelsey K.

Veterinary Assistant

Kelsey joined our staff in October 2015. She chose to pursue a career as a veterinary assistant because it’s one that brings people and animals together. “Not only are the animals happy, but the owners are, too, because you have given them the joy of hanging on to their best friend for as long as they can,” she said. She certainly has a way with animals; she once managed to feed a squirrel by hand. Her favorite part of her position is becoming familiar with her clients and having them say that the treatment they were given is really helping their pets. She also has a special interest in massage therapy. Kelsey is the proud pet mom of four rabbits, two dogs, one guinea pig, and a cat named Mocha.  In her spare time, she can be found reading, writing, going for walks, and playing games with her family.
